I normally wear Acuvue Oasys on a regular basis, and used to wear clear Acuvue 2's. I decided to try a few different Acuvue 2 Colour Opaques for variety and to change up my eye colour. I wanted something fun but natural looking (I am Asian with very dark brown eyes). I could not try other brands since Acuvue 2's are the only ones that come in high enough prescription for my eyes. However, since I used to be an Acuvue 2 clear user I was confident at least the fit and comfort would not be an issue. True to Acuvue, I was very pleased about the comfort, fit and vision quality. I tried: Jade Green, Honey Brown and Chestnut Brown. So far, I like Chestnut Brown and Jade Green. Chestnut (love these) just lightens the brown ever so slightly, looks very natural but brighter/enhanced. Jade Green looks dark forest green, but also very natural. Honey Brown... mixed results depending upon the light and how close you are to me. In some light, or at a distance, the colour and effect is beautiful and striking (khaki/hazely green/brown). But in some light, at some angles, or when you are up close the Honey Brown lenses make it look like I have little yellow lines drawn on my eyes, like yellow Liquid Paper or marker or paint, and you can really see the defined pupil hole and pixellated pattern - very unfortunate. I am curious to try the Acuvue 2 Opaques Hazel lenses. Overall a great product for us high prescription users, but I wish they had more natural looking colour options not just to mask/change any colour, but specifically designed to enhance very dark brown eyes (more lighter and (natural looking) honey browns, more greens or hazel options). I also wish the pupil hole was not so defined, even if they let some natural brown show through would be better like a two tone effect. The manufacturer's photos don't accurately show the effect of the lenses on dark eyes, they need to provide better photos of the different lens colours on actual eyeballs of different colours. I did a lot of internet research looking for reviews and there are only a few good photos by users on blogs, of only some of these colours on dark eyes. Overall, I really like the Acuvue 2 Colour Opaques and would definitely buy this product again - but probably not the Honey Brown (too bad because from a distance I really love the colour).

I have dark brown eyes and was nervous about buying these before trying a trial pair. I went ahead and ordered them any way and am delighted! It completely covers my brown eyes. I ordered the sapphire blue, and they're beautiful.

I had tried coloured contacts about 10 years ago, and recently got a few trial pairs from my optometrist and was very disappointed by the colour coverage of those brands; you could definitely see my brown colour through them. Also, because of my pupil dialation, I would get a colour haze around my vision. These opaques must be the perfect size for me because while you might see my brown eyes once in a while when my pupils are very small, I never have my vision obstructed when they dialate.

My eyes are pretty sensitive, getting slightly irritated even when I wear acuvue oasis, so I do get sore eyes after hours of wearing these. I think i just have abnormally sensitive eyes though.

These lenses are very comfertable, you put them on in the morning and take them off before you sleep, they have a very deep color and are easy tu put on. Make sure you wash your hands before you start putting them on.

They are all very good (the colors) I love the blues! They make my dark brown eyes look beautiful, I use them daily and I love the way the look, if you have dark eyes these are the best blue contacts of the choice.

These are the first contacts I try that actually do what they claim: they change my eye colour (naturally DARK brown) to a lovely gray. You really can change up your entire look.
