Ever since my eyes cannot tolerate contact lenses, I have to wear eyeglasses all the time. I have such a narrow face that it is always difficult for me to find glasses that fit me well, so nevermind finding a stylish one! But not this time. They both fit me AND are super stylish. I could not be happier!

I also have a "big" prescription (-8.00) and I am always worried about the thicknest of the lenses showing, but not with these, you can't see the thicknest of the lense from the sides at all. Plus they are so lightweight!

Regarding the color, as it was explained in a previous review, in lowlight they look like they are black and in bright light, you can see the dark purple and the fine violet line around the side of the frame. The inside of the frame is another type of violet. So there are 3 different "degrees/hues" of purple on these frames. But don't worry it does not come out as: "Hey! look she has purple glasses!"

I also chose the photochromatic lenses for these frame and I just love it! When I am outside, they look like a really nice sunglasses and inside just regular! I have nothing bad to say about the beautiful Candies Selena.

I've been trying forever to find glasses in this style- it's not that easy! I love these, I think they look great- they fit a little small on my face but I think I'd be the only one to notice that and it doesn't make them uncomfortable. I love the colour and the shape- very happy.

These were the second pair of glasses I've purchased from ClearlyContacts.ca. I was recently fitted for contacts as well but I prefer to wear these glasses because they are so fantastic! The colour is superb. In low-light they look black but once the sun hits them they have this glow around the edge of them in a really lovely aubergine colour. The fuschia on the inside of the frame is very pretty and adds more colour to your face.

I could do without the rhinestones, personally, but that's just because I'm not a total girly-girl type person. The branding on the side is a bit over-the-top for my liking because again, I'm not that type of person that likes to show off brands.

They fit a bit small on my face but because of the awesome hinges, have stretched a bit to accomodate my well-endowed head and now fit rather nicely.

These glasses make me feel like Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman)...perhaps that's why they're called Selena frames????
