      The day before I ordered, I priced out similar frames at a large food chain (one with in-house optical, photo studio, bank, etc.) I was quoted [$] on sale. While the lens was 1.74 High Index Crizal with all the best coatings, and the optician had on a pair and the frames looked like there were no lenses inside, I just couldn't stomach the cost. I would rather get two or three pair for that price.I ordered these frames because with my Rx (-7 and -6), a smaller size frame means less of a Coke-bottle look at the edges. I ordered the best lens (1.67 index) and all the coatings and these do not disappoint.And a bonus: these frames are made in Italy...not you-know-where.
