Not entirely black, not entirely metal

    Comments about Perspective 2021 Black:

    Yes, the forward part of the frame around the lenses is black metal, but the side pieces, behind the hinge, are tortoiseshell plastic with a slight brown tinge. The hinges themselves are quite a bit smaller and flimsier than the thickness of the frames would suggest. The one on the right side has quite a bit of vertical play right out of the box, and the joints at the hinges, where the plastic sides meet the metal front, don't line up especially well. I do not expect these frames will last very long. Also not a fan of the fat zigzag thing on the side or the large "Perspective" molded into the plastic.

    Having said that, the lenses (with the 1.6 IR and coatings package) are fine, they are comfortable and they make me look gooooood. Understand what you are buying and you will be happy.
