These are beautiful glasses, and very comfortable. I am not one who usually likes to wear glasses because of how they feel at the end of the day-I am a devoted contact lens wearer. But combined with the lightweight lenses I bought with these frames, I have worn them three days in a row-which for me is unheard of. If you want to try a darker plastic-type frame but don't want it to take over your face, try these. Note that they are dark and they don't look really tortoiseshell to me, you have to look carefully to see it. They are also a narrower frame depth which initially I thought I wouldn't like, but I find them very flattering.

I wear contacts most of the time because I don't like wearing glasses or how they look on me (and I've tried many designer pairs in past). Now these I really like, and would not hesitate to wear. True to the photo, and I didn't realize until they arrived that there are clear nose bridge pads (a real plus since I am Asian and plastic frames usually slide down a lot on me). Nice fitting, lightweight, modern, fashionable and classic styling. Will look just as great with jeans, sportswear or dresses. Clearly Contacts did a great job getting the prescription lenses done perfectly. (I didn't rate scratch resistance because I don't know, n/a).

I have been wearing glasses for 20+ years and these have been my all time favourites! They are exactly as they appear, perfect fit, lightweight, so comfortable! The only 'surprise' is that you can see the nose pad holders from the front (when wearing) - I actually really like it but I wasn't expecting it. I love these glasses!
